FLATWORLD Solutions-Philippines Inc. (FWS-PH) is eying to double its seats by the end of this year, an executive said.
“Considering the past few years we have been here, we have been growing substantially and we are optimistic because of our sales and growth projection. Considering the way where the company is heading in the next ten years we will definitely increase the number of seats and people,” said Ajit Sivarajan, FWS-PH general manager, in an interview with SunStar Davao on Monday evening.
He said by the end of 2017, they hope to have around 1000 seats, which is double their current 500 seats.
“At the same time, [we would like to] increase the utilization of the existing seats in multiple shifts,” said Sivarajan.
He added that with the current number of projects they have, their utilizations is “a bit of a toss” because of overlapping and having different projects with different timings.
“What we want to eventually achieve is…seats are better utilized for the day,” Sivarajan said.
He said with the target to increase their number of seats, they are also looking into the possibility of having or adding a new location aside from their headquarters in Lapu-lapu St., Davao City, which is also their only site in the Philippines.
“I think we are maxed out [in our current location]; we cannot add more seats. So we would be looking at a different office space,” Sivarajan said.
However, he said they still have to look into if they will move the office entirely to a new location or simply just expand to a new location.
Aside from the expansion, FWS-PH is also diversifying its agents in terms of languages they know as the company move toward multi-lingual voice and non-voice services.
At present, they have agents who know the Spanish language. In the future, they are also looking into adding agents who know Mandarin, French, and German.
FWS-PH is one of the many business process outsourcing sites of Indian based ICT-BPO company Flatworld Solutions.
The company offers solutions in IT, business consulting, and outsourcing services.
